MARTHA BERNICE (daughter of Clark and Minnie)
In 1930 Holbrook, Arizona, Martha is 38, married to Robrert F. Morris 47, borni nNew York, a butcher. Robert 5 and Lyman B. 2 were both born in Colorado.

Bernice (Chase) Morris 1892-1938 is also buried in Snowflake # 86225804.

Lyman Benjamin (Red) Morris, 77, of Aztec, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005. Lyman was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Burlington, Colo., to Robert Frank Morris and Martha Bernice Chase, where he and his brothers, Robert and Newell lived until the untimely death of their parents. Lyman spent most of his life in one foster home after another until he came to Aztec to live with Cap and Bonnie Walls. He then joined the Navy in 1944, where he served his country with pride and honor. Later he worked in the oil field as a pusher and retired in 1990. Lyman loved the outdoors and working in his garden.
Robert Lewis Morris, 74, Big Oaks Boulevard, Oviedo, Florida, died Friday, April 14, 2000.
Mr. Morris was a mechanical engineer. Born in Sterling, Colorado, he moved to central Florida in 1988. He was Presbyterian. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary P., and leaves behind two sons, three daughters, two sisters and eight grandchildren.

Mary L. Chase married Robert J. Gassner in Burlington August 26, 1925
In 1930 Burlington, Mary is 28, married to Irving R. Gasner 32, running a tire shop.

In 1940, Robert I. Gassner is running an oil station, with mary L, Barbara A. 9, and Marion seven months. Minnie Cahse, 82 is living with them.
Mary L. Gassner 1901-1987 and Robert I. 1895-1989 are buried in Burlington.

Lifelong resident of Burlington, Barbara Pralle, passed away on Saturday, November 22nd at Grace Manor Care Center. She was 84 years old.
Barbara was born on June 12, 1930 in Burlington, Colorado. Her parents were Robert & Mary (Chase) Gassner. Barbara attended all 12 years of school in Burlington, graduating in 1948. After graduating she worked as a telephone operator for Mountain States Telephone Company. On October 10, 1948 she married her high school sweetheart, Dale Pralle, after he was discharged from the Navy. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this October. From this union two children were born, Pamela Kay on April 18, 1950 and Allan Dale on July 6, 1953.
Barbara stayed at home and took care of her children until they graduated from high school. She was a Cub Scout and Brownie leader for several years with her children. After her children graduated she went to work as a retail-inventory clerk for Orth’s Department Store for 20 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and counted cross-stitch up until her eye sight started to fail when she was diagnosed with macular degeneration.
Barbara will be greatly missed by her husband, Dale, her daughter, Pam Richards (Jim) of Thornton, Colorado and her son Allan (Sharon) of Burlington. Surviving also are her sister Marion Lambert and her husband Doyle of Burlington and their children Dayla & Wendel.

1912 Burlington "Esther Chase entered the sixth grade Monday" One tree said Esther Taft Chase married Guy Allen Eagleburger in Norton Kansas in 1916 and died in 1919 in Pueblo Colorado. "Esther Eagleburger – Pueblo Chieftain – January 2, 1919 – Esther Eagleburger, age 19 years, died January 1, 1919. She is survived by her husband, G. A. Eagleburger, and a daughter. Body at the United. "
Olive Brown married "A.G. Eagleburgar" August 18, 1920, recorded in Yuma County.

"Jay" V. Eagleburger of Hermes, Colorado filed for homestead in sections 221 and 22, 5S 45W in 1913, withnesses Edward L. Andrews, William F. Mace, Walgter Andrews, and John Walker.

Frank B. Chase 1859-1938 is buried in Maple Hill # 94134214, with Laura B. Chase 1867-1900

Guy Eagleberger is widowed in 1920 Yuma County, rooming with Clyde and Bernice Laughlin, working in a garage in Kirk precinct. Guy is in Monticello, Utah in 1930, running a store, married to Olive, 27, with four kids. In 1940, still in Monticello, they have five kids.
Guy, son of Perry Eagleberger, born in Lenora Kansas, died of malnutrition in Kleburg County, Texas Sept 29, 1955, owner of the Red Top Trailer Courts, to be buried in Chamberlain Burial Park.
The death certificate didn't have his mother's name. His parents are likely Edwin E. Eagleberger 1854-1926 # 89197509 buried in Burlington, Colorado, and Pheobie Jane 1857-1932, # 89197544
Edwin and Phoebe were in Burlington in 1920, with Eilah M. 23 and Lucile N. 2, born in Colorado.
Phoebe is living with Eilah in 1930 Kit Carson County, who's married to Harley Benge, both 35, and their daughte rMary L. 2. Lucile N. is 12, a niece.

His son Alan Lee "Buster" Eagleburger, born at Kirk, Colorado in 1922, died in 1985 and is buried in Waco, Texas # 70820770.

In 1920 Yuma County, Frank B. Chase is 60 widowed, and divorced lodger Mary E. Noggle 52 is with him.
Frank B. Chase is 70 in 1930 Yuma County, widowed, with a divorced houseekeeper, Mary Scoville 60.

John Chase 1896-1914, per # 89260330, is buried in Burlington.

In 1920 Louis is still farming, 36, married to Beulah, 24, born in Colorado.
In 1930 Louis and Beulah are in Berthoud, Colorado, where he works in a sugar factory.
In 1940 Weld County, he's still in a sugar factory, and they have a daughter, Margaret, 7.

Louis Dwight Chase, per # 76707340, 1883-1946, is buried in Laramie, Wyoming. One tree said Beulah died in 1982 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and Margaret in 2009.

Inez M. Chase, 26, and Isaac H. Stringham, 28, both of Hermes, married October 20, 1912 in Burlington.

Inez (Chase) Stringham 1886-1938 is buried in Burlington.
Isaac Stringham 1884-1976 is also buried there.
