In 1940 Essex County, Frank is still a designer, Minnie no occupation. Margaret is a stenographer, Edith a secretary.

He registered for WWII there, with wife Minnie. Frank works for Macy's on Herald Square in New York.

Frank 1876-1965 is buried in Greenbrier County, West Virginia # 74294447 "Service for Frank J. Ackerman, 78-year-old Alderson resident who died Monday in a Weston hospital, was to be today at McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg. The Rev. Dan Moore was to officiate and burial was to be in Alderson Cemetery. Mr. Ackerman was a retired Interior decorator for Macy's Department Store in New York He lived in Alderson for nine years. He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church at Saddie Rock, N. J., and the Belleville, N. J., Masonic Lodge. Survivors: wife, Marie, daughters, Mrs. John B. Seeley of White Plains, N.Y., Mrs Charles Ackerman of Reseda Calif.; sister, Mrs. Lauretta Mitchell of Columbus, Ind.; seven grandchildren. "

Minnie might be the Minnie Ackerman dying September 24, 1944 at age 72 years ten months 19 days, born in Buffalo, buried there # 145527357.

Margaret Lois Ackerman was born December 16, 1916 at Goodland Kansas, dying August 25, 1999 as Margaret Seeley.
She had lived in White Plains, New York.

Edith, born May 9, 1918 in New York, died November 15, 1986 isn Los Angeles.
