"Frieda Lena Schmitt was born February 14, 1878 in Zurich, Switzerland. In May of the same year her parents brought her to the United States where they established their home on a farm near Sabetha, Kansas. After her marriage to August Andrew Schmitt she lived near Salem, Davenport and Oak, Nebraska. Approximately 11 years ago she went to Lincoln to make her home with her oldest daughter, Mrs. Leslie Ray Lacey. She passed away at the Lincoln General Hospital September 9, 1966 at the age of 88 years, seven months and five days. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937.
She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Gottlieb W. Schmitt of Oak; three daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Ada) Lacey of Lincoln, Mrs. G.F. (Coral) Lacey of Nelson, and Mrs. Joseph (Rubbie) Corliss of Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren;
five brothers, Charlie Dandliker, and Walter Dandliker of Sabetha, Kans., Fred Dandliker of Pasadena, Calif., Harry Dandliker of Hiawatha, Kans., and Oscar Dandliker of St. Joseph, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Marie Warner of Sabetha, Kans.; and many other relatives and friends."

1982 "Darrel Stalder of Tustin and Tom Johnson of Santa Ana have won Marketeer of the Year awards from ITT Cannon. Both are with the Circular Division of ITT Cannon, which manufactures a wide range of electrical and fiber optic connect."

"Son of Henry & Lena (Mohler) Hess. Married Sept. 7, 1938 to Eureva Stalder at McPherson, KS.
They farmed south of Bern and in Oneida vicinities where Carl spent his entire life of 28 years. His health failed and had to give up farming. He had fought a losing battle with the dreaded Brights Disease and passed away at the Sabetha Hospital. They had no children. "

Francis Holmes Turner, born Feb 17, 1909, died in Josephine County June 13, 1991, spouse Eureva.
He was born in Bonneville, Utah to Francis D. Turner and Anna B. Holmes of Illinois.
Francis' first wife Iva Lucille, born in Chicago to Alex Disbrow and Mabel Hardesty of Wichita, Kansas, died in Bonner County, Idaho in 1942, to be buried in Newport, Washington.
She died as a result of an auto collision. She's buried in Boulder, Colorado # 11114106.
