"Thelma Lucille (Jackson) Anderson, age 77, of Rifle, passed away August 11, 2011 at E. Dene Moore Care Center.
Lucy was born November 28, 1933 in Greeley to Thelma Lucille (Lamb) and David Henry Jackson. She married Kelly Bruce Anderson on June 6, 1953. The couple moved from Greeley to Ft. Lawton, OK, to Windthorst, TX, finally settling in Rifle in 1957 where they owned and operated the Coulter Lake Guest Ranch for 22 years prior to retirement.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly, and an infant son, Danny.
She leaves behind her sons, David Anderson (TamaRay); Doug Anderson and Jack Anderson; daughter, Debra Anderson Lohse (Lee); grandchildren, Kelli Lohse, Sahvanna Leavitt, Shanney Ragsdill (Tony), Diamond and Boone Anderson, Lisa and Steven Anderson (MacKenzie), and Ashley Anderson, and great-grandchildren, Cash and Karma Ragsdill and Shayleigh Leavitt.
