December 14, 1925 Macon, Missouri "Funeral services for Jackson Cobb were held this afternoon at one o'clock at Pleasant View church, conducted by the Hev Thompkins Mr. Cohb passed away at his home four miles east of Cairo Saturday morning. He was seventy-seven years old. For the past six years lit has made his home on a farm near Cairo. Before that time he lived few miles south-east of Macon and was well known in this city. He is survived by his wife, one son, William Mrs. Lucy E. Cobb, one brother, Thos. Cobb who lives in Maryland and a host of other relatives and friends. Interment was made in Pleasant View Cemetery."
