Albert Kelley, Fleming

Albert cash-claimed a quarter in 29, 8N 49W in 1909.

In 1900 Pawnee County, Nebraska, Albert Kelly is a stepson of Henry and Iola Foley. He was born January 1887 in Nebraska.
Ida Florence (Eakin) (Kelly)Foley 1857-1941 is buried in Pawnee City # 75856891. It wsy she had married Andrew Kelly Feb 20, 1879 at Emporia, Kansas.

Albert Eakin Kelly registered for WWI in Liberty, Nebraska, born January 12, 1887 at Pawwnee City, Nebraska, a clergyman, with a wife and child.

This Albert E. Kelley was born in Nebraska about 1887, and is in Larimer County in 1920, a minister, married to Ruth A. 26. Carl Abbert is 2, Margaret 1.

In 1955 "The congregation will have as its guest preacher, the Rev. Albert E. Kelly. D.D., L.L.D. Dr. Kelly was born in Pawnccc City, Nebr., and was reared on a farm in the southeast part of that state. He was born a United Presbyterian and educated in United Presbyterian institutions of learning. He was graduated from Pawnee City Academy, a United Presbyterian secondary school in 1905. In 1910 he was graduated from Tarkio College in Tarkio, Mo., and in 1911 from Xenia Theological Seminary."

So it's possible that he did the cash claim in 1909 Logan County.

The Ingleside Presbyterian Church in San Francisco history says "When there came an occasion---through lack of funds---that Rev. Albert E. Kelly, the religious director, had to choose between gymnasium paraphernalia for the boys' gym or a pipe organ for the hall of worship, he yielded to the little fellows who will some day be big men, and they got their parallel bars, Indian clubs, dumbbells and rings."

They were in Whittier California in 1930, Albert 43, Ruth 37, Robert 13, argaret Jean 11, Mary 3 and John four months.
Albert 1887-1961 is buried in Whittier # 107368060, mother Eakin. Ruth 1893-1974 is buried with him.


Fort Collins December 29, 1911 "Albert Kelley, one of the men who fell victims to the wrath of Lauro Garcia, is out of the hospital. He was released late Saturday afternoon and was taken to his boarding house. Kelley was stabbed by Garcia on Sunday night a week ago. It was this stabbing affair which led to the death of Policeman Brockman. He is still under the doctor's care and it will be some time before he entirely recovers from his wounds."

In 1910 Morgan County, Colorado, there's an Albert Kelley with no birth date or location, a laborer in a arooming house.

In 1920 Denver, Albert Kelley, 40, divorced, a construction laborer, is in a rooming house in Denver.
