Jacob H. Ullery, Fleming

Jacob claimed a quarter in 13, 8N 49W in 1891. He was delinquent on taxes on that land in 1890.

He had a record of a homestead claim in that township, but it wasn't completed.

He also had a record of a timber claim in 11N 51W that wasn't completed.

He might be the Jacob Ullery born Nov 13, 1854 in Indiana to David Ullery of Ohio and Elizabeth Happner of Ohio. Mrs. Nellie Garner was the infomant when he died in Allggan County Michigan.
Elizabeth Hapner married David Ullery in Kosciusko County April 29, 1852.

In 1860 Kosciusko County, Indiana, George Hapner is 26, Nancy 31. Jacob Ullery is 5, and Esther E. is 7. The line above is Elizabeth Ulery 28 born in Ohio, living with Jacob Hapner 53 and Catherine Hapner 52...

In 1870 Van Buren County, Michigan, Ester E. is 18, married to Levi Loehr, with "Gerna" six months old.
Her daughter is likely the Iva Sienna (Leoehr) Hamilton 1870-1954 buried in Van Buren County # 41217734.

In 1880 Allegan County, Michigan, Jacob is a farm laborer, living alone.
Jacob Ullery is in 1900 Allegan County, Michigan (others from Allegan County came to the Logan County Colorado area). Jacob is a carpenter, born Nov 1854 in Indiana, married six years to Lillie Oct 1857 Ohio. Her father Samuel Eaton born August 1826 in New York is with them.

In 1910 Allegan County, Jacob is 55, Lillie A. 52, both only married once.
They're next to Orrin A. 67 and Nellie M. 62 Eaton, with their son Bert 36.

In 1913 Jacob owned 80 acres in Allegan County two miles from Lake Michigan. Ada Eaton has forty acres a miles north.

Jacob 1854-1914 is buried in Allegan County # 130511906, with Lillie 1859-1912. Her father Samuel W. Eaton 1826-1906 is also buried there.

Lillie was born in Lorraine COunty, Ohio to Samuel W. Eaton of New York and Annett Terill of Ohio, infomant Elihu Eaton.

In 1880 Allegan County, Michigan, Samuel W. Eaton is 54, Lilie 22, and Elihu 16.
Jacob's mother is probably the Elizabeth Brenner buried in Allegan County # 118314226, 1832-1896.
She was the daughter of J.B. and Catherine Hapner.

Hattie (Ullery) Countryman 1875-1957 is buried in Sterling # 55849919.
She is, per one tree, the daughter of Jacob W. Ullery and Mary Bartmess - This Jacob might be a cousin of Jacob H.
