In 1900 Fort Collins, Colorado, Simon is a lumber merchant, born Sept 1857 in Ohio, married ten years to Alice L. March 1866 New York.
1903 Fort Collins "Mrs. S. B. Purdy is quite ill at her home, 218 Remington street, with a severe attack of la grippe."
1904 "Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Purdy have arrived home from Sardinia, Ohio, where they have spent sevsral weeks visiting friends."

1906 "S. B. Purdy of Denver, is crossing palms today with Fort Collins friends."

Simon is a real estate dealer in 1910 Denver, and they have no kids.
Alice died in Denver in 1913, and is buried in Fairmount Cemetery.
In 1930 Simon is back in Brown County, Ohio, 73, widowed, with sister Margret J. Purdy 79.
They're together in 1940 Brown County, and Simon died there in May 1940.
