We are attempting to set these pages up to show what counties are on what mail lists, and to assist you, the researcher, in your efforts to locate your ancestors, your roots! I hope we have this set up so it is less confusing to find the correct mail lists to subscribe to. You can subscribe, or unsubscribe to any of the mail lists below.

The L lists are for "Mail Mode" or reciving a letter every time someone posts to the list. the D lists are for "Digest Mode" or to recive Several posts to the list all together, Usually sent only once or twice a day.

The e-mail address is the correct one to write to for either subscribing or unsubscribing to each list. Please be sure to turn off any Signature Files you may have when sending in either command.

Write ONLY the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) in the body of the message, to subscribe.

Write ONLY the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the body of the message, to unsubscribe.

New Non County Lists!

This mail list is not for queries, we are trying to locate ALL of Colorado's cemeteries and see which ones we can get Historical Site's for.

This list is to offer to lookups on Colorado Census, or request a lookup from a Cololorado Census.

Ethnic mail list for Colorado: GERMANS-CO -- German immigrants in Colorado. It is for sharing research problems and triumphs. It's for seeking assistance from and for each other. It is also for sharing traditions and recipes (try to confine those to relevant holidays). Your ancestors didn't have to go directly from Germany to Colorado, but they should have settled for a time in Colorado.

To subscribe send a message GERMANS-CO-L-request@rootsweb.com with the word subscribe in the subject line and no other message.

To subscribe to digest mode send a message to GERMANS-CO-D-request@rootsweb.com . There's no need to subscribe to both..

This mail list is for queries about ancestors that you don't know where they lived in Colorado. It also is automaticly posted to with messages from our Unknown Colorado County Message board.

The COALAMOS-l is now being used as the San Luis Valley wide list. This list covers the six counties of the San Luis Valley; Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Mineral, Rio Grande, and Saguache.
