Migrations Project

The Migrations Project goal is to compile a database that will help researchers trace their ancestors moves around the world. Since the Morgan County Migration Project (in its original form) didn't support that goal the collection of data at the county level has been discontinued. Please submit your ancestor's migration data to the Migrations Project database.

Archived Morgan County Migrations from the original project.

Search for Morgan County Entries:

Search for a Surname:

Surname search notes:

  • Entries are "case sensitive", use Zion not zion.
  • Surname searches include the entire National Database not just Yuma County!

A complete search entry takes the form:
Town, County, State
e.g. Brush, Morgan County, CO

Location search entry variations:

  • Vernon .... shows all Vernon locations (Vernon, Mt Vernon, Vernon County, etc)
  • Yuma County .... shows all Yuma County records (AZ and CO)
  • CO ..... shows all Colorado records (you must use the two character state abv.)
  • Entries are "case sensitive", Vernon and vernon will return different results.
