Fort Morgan and Brush


Ft. Morgan and Brush had adequate markets and transportation for substantial growth.


Sugar factories gained Morgan County the slogan of "The Sugar Bowl of America."


Brush is on the main line of the Burlington from Chicago, St. Louis and Kansas City which joins the Billings and Pacific Northwest line.

The flour and feed mill provide a market for the farmers. Finished products were shipped by to rail to large consuming cities.

Fort Morgan, street scene in the business district. This was a town of prosperity with paved streets and permanent construction of business buildings.


Ft. Morgan was a prosperious town reflected in its beautiful houses.


Leading religious organizations maintained lavish churches with community activities.
