COATS - (December 1, 1976, Pueblo Chieftain) Frank Coats, 87, died Nov. 30, 1976, Pioneers Memorial Hospital. Survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hammond of Fowler and Mrs. Frances Higgs of Ulysses, Kan.; 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Clara Denise Gilmore, in 1967, and wife Clara, Sept. 11, 1976. Arrangements later.

COATS - (September 12, 1976, Pueblo Chieftain) Mrs. Frank (Clara) Coats, 86, formerly of 209 Ninth, Fowler, died September 11, 1976. Survived by husband Frank; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Hammond, Fowler, and Mrs. Frances Higgs of Ulysses, Kan.; 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter, Denise Gilmore, Jan 31, 1967. Services 2 p.m. Tuesday, First Methodist Church. Burial Fowler Cemetery.
