A person who owns or has access to a research tool or resource may list what they have available and what they will provide on request. Copyrighted materials can be listed but the copyright must be observed. In such cases, it will be required to have the permission of the copyright holder to use the materials in this way. Copyrights do not keep information from being provided. Please be careful how you provide information from copyrighted materials.

Anyone who has books or documents (or access) relating to Prowers County - would you like to do lookups?? We need lookup volunteers. This should not involve a lot of time, but would be very helpful to others looking for genealogy information in Prowers county. If you are willing to help, please send an email with information such as title or description of the reference material you own or can access. Some items such as old letters or wills, etc. contain lots of genealogical information and are a valuable resource!
