Searching for info on, Magnus Michael Långström/Longstrom.
He was in Silverton, San Juan County living in 1909. He is in the
miners union dues book in 1909 as Magnus Lunden. He came to
Silverton in 1906 at 16 years of age from Bullaren Sweden. He may
have changed his name. There has been some discussion that he used
Longstrom, or Armstrong. I believe the Lunden is just what the
person who wrote the name thought he said.?? His brother was Carl
Långström and he changed his name to Longstrom. He is in the

I am looking for any information on a Frederick
Albert Martin and Bertha Eleanor Martin. They had 10 children born
and raised in Cow Creek, Ouray County. I know that Harold and Amy
died in Montrose, Bertha died in Durango, George died in New Castle
and Ida died in California. I don't have any information on Larry,
Charles, Bill, Fred and Eleanor. Thanks for your help.

Elizabeth Giles Murphy of Silverton, San Juan County,
Colorado and husband ran a local hotel in 1882-4. She was about 2
years old when her family came from Wales to USA. Thomas Giles
(father) and her brother Thomas (son) and Sister Mary and her
husband (Williams), and two children came in 1832. Her mother with 6
children came in 1833 via Philadelphia then to Cuyahoga Falls, Oh;
Pittsburgh, Pa; Bloomsburg, Pa; and ultimately Hazleton, Pa.

He left my dad's family when my dad was young.
My grandfather's name was Alfred Edward Talbot. I think he
was born in 1892. I believe he died in
Durango/Ouray area about 1940.

1950's and 60's. He was a mine promoter and she the town librarian.
Very unique people who had a role in saving the railroad.
