I am searching for any information on a William "Bud" HAMILTON who is told to have gone west to Colorado in 1930 by train from Kentucky to homestead property. He was a surveyor and merchant in KY. If anyone could tell me if there was a certain area that was being homesteaded in the 1930's. He later sent for two of his daughters and a son. Eva HAMILTON KORTE who's husband was Ted KORTE a train engineer and is said to have deid in CO, and the other daughter Lennie HAMILTON FISCHER . Both daughter's later returned to Kentucky. Possibly a son named Brain/Bryan Hamilton . It is thought that William "Bud" HAMILTON died in CO in the late 1930's. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

He was a fifteen year old high school graduate at the time he went to Colorado in 1932. In 1933 he returned to Iowa to go to college. They are trying to find names of persons he was in touch with while he was in Colorado maybe working as a ranch hand or farm worker. We would appreciate any help anyone can give.

If so where would the records be found? Any help with my mystery grfather will be most appreciated.
